Now that the DCU is moving forward with Robert Patinson as The Batman for at least three films, its time to start building a star-studded cast around him.

According to reports amateur filmmaker Ryan Unicomb is RUMORED to want James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan for the role of Alfred in The Batman. Read on for more details about The Batman Wants Pierce Brosnan as Alfred Pennywise.

CelebNMovies247.com likes the idea of Robert Patinson as The Batman but we are NOT loving the combination of Pattinson on screne with Pierce Brosnan.

We get it, Pierce Brosnan has that way about him and him being the father type figure in Bruce Wayne’s life could work for The Batman. He was the mentor and teacher in Percy Jackson, but he only did the role for one film.

Anyhow,  MovieWeb points out that certain rumors, specifically relating to The Batman, started out in a similar fashion and proved to be true. Case in point, Robert Pattinson’s casting as Bruce Wayne was put forth by artist BossLogic long before the announcement was made. So it’s not impossible to imagine, somehow, Unicomb stumbled across something..

Taking to Instagram, he had this to say, whilst sharing a picture of the former 007:

Pierce has entered the chat party.

The caption also included an old man emoji and a bat symbol. The commenters were pretty quick to put the pieces together.

Bottom line, there has to be some truth to all of this chatter.

We will see what developes and if Pierce Brosnan is cast. Michael Caine portrayed Alfred Pennyworth in The Dark Knight trilogy for Christopher Nolan, while Jeremy Irons took on the part in both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League.

We feel that Jeremy Irons should return, we only swapped out Ben Affleck, so there is no reason to switch out other cast members.
