The Curse of La Llorona trailer is the next horror film from horror mastermind James Wan who continues to bring horror fans the scares we’ve all missed since the 90s.

The Curse of La Llorona is about a legendary ghost La Llorona is stalking the night and the children in 1970s Los Angeles. Ignoring the eerie warning of a troubled mother, a social worker, and her own kids are drawn into a frightening supernatural realm. Their only hope of surviving La Llorona’s deadly wrath is a disillusioned priest who practices mysticism to keep evil at bay.

The film is directed by Michael Chaves. Produced by James Wan, Gary Dauberman, Emile Gladstone. New Line Cinema and Atomic Monster Productions are the production companies behind the film. and the movie was penned by Tobias Iaconis and Mikki Daughtry.

The Curse of La Llorona scares into theaters on April 19, 2019.
