Lionsgate’s forthcoming disaster action film, featuring Mel Gibson and Emile Hirsch, as their characters must team up together to bring down a group of thieves while trapped inside an apartment complex in the midst of a Category 5 Hurricane. The film will be making its debut on Tuesday, June 30 on VOD, DVD and Blu-ray.

UNHINGED:
Solstice Studios has moved up their Russell Crowe psychological thriller Unhinged from its September release date to July 1, the first new film to be distributed in cinemas since theater and production closures began due to COVID-19.
Unhinged is a psychological thriller starring Academy Award-winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator) from Carl Ellsworth, the writer of Red Eye and Disturbia, and Lisa Ellzey, the producer of Warrior and Kingdom of Heaven. It takes an ordinary, everyday incident to its most terrifying conclusion in telling the story of a mother who leans on her horn at the wrong time, to the wrong guy. “Road rage” doesn’t begin to describe what he’s about to do to her and everyone she knows. The film is directed by Derrick Borte (American Dreamer) and also stars Caren Pistorius, Gabriel Bateman, Jimmi Simpson, and Austin P. McKenzie.
BECKY:
Quiver Distribution and Redbox have debuted the first trailer for the upcoming horror-thriller Becky starring Kevin James (Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Kevin Can Wait) in his most against-type role yet as a killer racist terrorizing the titular protagonist’s family.
Becky follows the story of a rebellious 14-year-old Becky as she’s brought to a weekend getaway at a lake house by her father in an effort to try to reconnect after her mother’s death. The trip takes a turn for the worse when a group of convicts on the run, led by the merciless Dominick (James), suddenly invade the lake house. Becky, not daddy’s little girl anymore, decides to take matters into her own hands.
The film will also be led by Lulu Wilson (Annabelle: Creation), who will be playing the titular character. James replaced Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) in the lead role after Pegg decided to leave the project due to scheduling conflicts.
Alongside James and Wilson, the ensemble cast for the film features Amanda Brugel (The Handmaid’s Tale), Robert Maillet (Sherlock Holmes) and Joel McHale (Community, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge).
