The first official teaser trailer for Columbia Pictures (Sony) SuperFly remake has been released and it’s pretty intense.

CelebNMovies247.com is proud to announce the new trailer for SuperFly 2018 which stars Trevor Jackson (Grown-ish) as Youngblood Priest, and Jason Mitchell (Straight Outta Compton, Detroit, King Kong: Skull Island) as Eddie.

Director X is at the helm of the new motion picture that give the 1972 iconic Blaxploitation movie a modern spin on an action. The SuperFly remake also stars Lex Scott Davis as Georgia, Andrea Londo as Cynthia, Jacob Ming-Trent as Fat Freddy, and Omar Chapparo as Adalberto.

What we like about the SuperFly remake is that Director X gives the movie a fresh new feel – Its gritty and crisp, looking like nothing that X has ever done before.

The new trailer features appearances from rappers Outkast’s Big Boi, Rick Ross, Zaytoven, and The Wire’s Michael K. Williams. The soundtrack will more than likely feature Big Boi, Ross, and Zaytoven as well.

We will see if SuperFly will be able to go three films and recreate the 1973 Super Fly T.N.T. and the 1990 sequel The Return of Superfly.

Plot Summary:

“Superfly” – the film that helped define a genre in its characters, look, sound, and feel – is reimagined with Director X, director of legendary music videos (Drake, Rihanna), introducing it to a new generation.
