The DCEU has done some retooling with their superhero franchise with only one critically successful movie in their catalog.
Read on to see the UPDATED DCEU Movie Release Dates…
CelebNMovies247.com has the UPDATED DCEU Movie Release Dates for the following films dropping between 2018 through 2020.
Batman v Superman hit the big screen with mixed reviews leaving DC fans disappointed. They followed with a lackluster and rush version of Suicide Squad followed by its biggest box office flop Justice League. You would have thought the DCEU would have been back on track after the highly successful Wonder Woman movie, but no.
Instead, Warner Bros. had issues with director Zach Snyder making a 3-hour version of Justice League, which he refused to cut. It was said the studio was 100 with Snyder’s cut, but in the end they FIRED him and hired Josh Whedon, who revamped the movie and chopped it down to 2-hours. The movie ended up like the disappointing Batman v Superman theatrical cut. Luckily, Warner released a directors cut on Blu-Ray/DVD and redeemed themselves. Batman v Superman on Blu-Ray/DVD is way better then at the theater, but you need to watch the director cut.
Unfortunately, they didn’t do that for Justice League on Blu-Ray/DVD, the Josh Whedon version is still lacking on all levels. Where does that leave the DCEU?
With the continual lackluster releases, Warner Bros. has revamped their DCEU movie release dates. The Flash has been completely pushed back, Aquaman is retooling the final cut, Shazaam is in production and Wonder Woman is readying to film.
