CelebNMovies247.com has learned that the first Valiant adaptation Bloodshot will hit the big screen in 2.5 years with Vin Diesel in the lead role.
Sony Pictures’ has made plans to target Valiant Comics Bloodshot for a February 21, 2020, release.
Vin Diesel will play the live-action superhero for the first time in Dave Wilson’s film, which costars Toby Kebbell (Kong: Skull Island), Eiza Gonzalez, Michael Sheen, Talulah Riley, Alex Hernandez and Sam Heughan.
Bloodshot is about a mortally wounded soldier resurrected with cutting-edge nanotechnology and tasked with rounding up super-powered outcasts known as “harbingers.”

Bloodshot is penned by Yvel Guichet, Don Perlin and Kevin VanHook (comic book), Eric Heisserer and Jeff Wadlow (screenplay). The live-action superhero movie will be directed by Dave Wilson.
“Bloodshot” ran for 110 issues with more than 7.5 million copies sold. Valiant’s bench of more than 2,000 superhero characters (with sales of more than 81 million copies) makes it the third-largest library of superheroes behind Marvel and DC.
Sony also dated Greta Gerwig’s “Little Women” for December 25, 2019, and “Zombieland 2” for October 11, 2019.
