CelebNMovies247.com reports that Warner Bros. has announced that they have pulled The Six Billion Dollar Man and replaced it with Wonder Woman 1984.
The Six Billion Dollar Man was originally going to be released in December of 2017, but that didn’t end up happening, since it was taken off of the release schedule earlier in June 2016. Warner Bros. took over the project and set a release date of May 31st, 2019, only to have that release date pushed back to June 5th, 2020. Now, the movie has completely been pulled from the Warner Bros. release schedule, leading to fears that the film has finally died after what seems like a long illness. – MovieWeb
As for Wonder Woman 1984, which was originally set to be released on November 1, 2019. The shift of the sequel by Warner Bros. to last year’s breakaway hit could prove to be more lucrative.
This is why Warner Bros. announcement prompted Paramount too, once again, move Terminator 6, which will now open on that November 1, 2019.
In addition to Paramount Pictures schedule move also prompted Sony, to shift their Charlie’s Angels reboot, which comes from director Elizabeth Banks to that same date.
This was probably a smart move for both studios, but we will see how it plays out next year when Terminator 6 and the Charlie’s Angels reboot face off.
