CelebNMovies247.com reports that Jason Momoa and Peter Dinklage gave memorable performances Game of Thrones and now they’ll be doing it a new vampire movie called “Good Bad & Undead.”
According to Variety, the film is in development at Legendary, and Max Barbakow is directing. Dinklage will play vampire hunter Van Helsing.
He teams up with Momoa’s vampire character, who vows never to kill again, and they start running a successful scam together for money. However, it’s ruined when a huge bounty is placed on Momoa’s character’s head, forcing them to go on the run. The story is based on an original idea by Mark Swift & Damian Shannon, who previously wrote 2009’s Friday the 13th and the Baywatch reboot. Legendary is advertising Good Bad & Undead as “Midnight Run in a Bram Stoker world.”
As first reported by Deadline, Dinklage will play Van Helsing, “last in a long line of vampire hunters. He develops an uneasy partnership with a Vampire (Momoa) who has taken a vow never to kill again. Together they run a scam from town to town, where Van Helsing pretends to vanquish the Vampire for money. But when a massive bounty is put on the Vampire’s head, everything in this dangerous world full of monsters and magic is now after them.” The project is further described as a “fun action-adventure that’s like Midnight Run in a Bram Stoker world.”
After leaving Game of Thrones, Momoa went on to play Aquaman in both the 2018 solo film and the ensemble DCEU movie, Justice League. He will also be in Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming Dune adaptation. Dinklage recently played Eitri in Avengers: Infinity War and starred in I Think We’re Alone Now with Elle Fanning. However, fans will likely have to wait awhile to see them in Good Bad & Undead.
