Netflix Iron Fist may be over, but there’s a good chance he may make his return in the future of the MCU.

CelebNMovies247.com reports that Marvel Studios is planning on rebooting the hero and casting an Asian-American actor in the role of Iron Fist.

Word is, Marvel is looking at a couple of actors to take on the chi-charged champion and one of them is The Raid star Iko Uwais.

Iko Uwais is one individual alongside Deadpool 2‘s Lewis Tan that Marvel is considering for the new Iron Fist.

This is perfect since the MCU is setting up the next phase of movies with more diversity with their superheroes.

The news comes from WGTC sources who revealed that the Inhumans will be rebooted in Ms. Marvel, which has since been confirmed, and that a She-Hulk TV show was on the way back in April, so there is no reason to doubt this tea.

It was first reported that the new Iron Fist could get their own Disney Plus series at some point. Now it is being said that Marvel really wants to pair the protector of K’un-Lun up with Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi.

It is also possible that the rebooted Rand could show up in Shang-Chi 2, whenever that might be arriving. Remember, Marvel can’t officially do anything with the Netflix characters for a couple of years.

As for the other Netflix series that were canceled (Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Punisher) – is likely to return to their roles in new movies or Disney Plus projects. This also means Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, and Jon Bernthal will also reprise their characters. This is NOT the same for Mike Colter as Luke Cage, he isn’t expected to be brought back.
