CelebNMovies247.com previously posted out Oscars 2018 predictions and we were almost spot on with all categories.
The big winner despite the reports that The Shape of Water was the center of controversy that the film was plagiarized. We doubt that to be the truth since the story came out a week before the Oscars. Guillermo del Toro was the big winner of the night with Best Motion Picture and Best Director. This year the Spirit Awards were not a precursor of who was winning Movie of the Year.
The other big winner of the night is Dunkirk sweeping up sound, visual and editing awards. Jordan Peele – Get Out landed Best Original Screenplay and Call Me by Your Name took home Best Adapted Screenplay. In the Best Actor, Actress and Supporting Actor and Actress, The Spirit Awards were spot on.
