‘Sex and the City’ Reboot Has No Big!
Well if you ask us, this kind of bites! Carrie and Big are the best part of Sex and The City, it has everything to do with Carrie’s dreams to find love. Anyways, read on to find out why Big will be missing from the ‘Sex and the City’ Reboot…
CelebnMusic247.com reports that some “Sex and the City” enthusiasts had better get ready for a Big disappointment.
Yes, you heard it here, that Chris Noth will not reprise his role as the iconic Mr. Big in the “Sex and the City” reboot.
We’re also told that David Eigenberg, who played Miranda Hobbes’ love interest, Steve Brady, won’t be returning either, but a rep told Page Six on Thursday that the actor is in negotiations to appear in the series.
Big, of course, was the love interest to Sarah Jessica Parker’s character, Carrie Bradshaw, over the course of the hit show’s six seasons, and the pair were married — after one dashed wedding attempt — in the first movie, from 2008.
In 2010’s sequel, the pair struggled with married life, but by the end, decided to try to make their marriage work.
But it looks like he’ll be out of her life once more when the new HBO Max series picks up her story.
CelebnMovies247.com previously reported that the Sex and The City reboot was in the works as a limited series on HBO Max. In January, Parker confirmed there would be a 10-episode revival called “And Just Like That.”
Why Kim Cattrall is NOT Retuning!
The new series already will not be featuring Samantha since Kim Cattrall already said she will NOT be returning after years of soured relations with Parker.
And Now Big and Steve two more intricate characters of the series will NOT be on the show either. I don’t know, we hope the series turns out to be as good as the original.
Crossing fingers.
HBO Max did not respond for comment.
