Get ready Zombie fans because Zombieland 2 has started adding members to its cast as production nears.

CelebNMovies247.com reports that Zombieland 2 is finally getting underway nearly a full decade after the original was released.

Joining the original cast is Zoey Deutch. She will be added to the OG cast Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin, who are set to reprise their roles in the sequel.
Director Ruben Fleischer, who also directed the original, is returning to helm the sequel.

Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will also return to pen the screenplay for Zombieland 2.

The duo who have the touch of gold, can prove it with their major film credits since the first Zombieland movie. Their credits include movies like the Deadpool films, as well as Life and several other major projects.

As for Zoey Deutch character, no details have been revealed about Deutch’s character in the follow-up.

We do know that she will join the original Columbus, Wichita, Tallahassee and Little Rock on their next adventure in the post-apocalyptic zombie wasteland.

Fleischer most recently directed Venom, also for Sony, which wound up becoming one of the highest-grossing movies of the year overall. It was also one of the biggest comic book movies ever.

Venom grossed $211,746,285 domestic and $611,228,468 International.
