CelebNMovies247.com reports that Warriors star Klay Thompson has signed on to do the upcoming “Space Jam 2” which reportedly was having troubles casting NBA stars.
It looks like those days are over since “Space Jam 2” now has Klay Thompson in addition to LeBron James.
This would probably be much bigger news if McIntyre hadn’t revealed it during the heat of the NBA finals. However, Space Jam fans will still have some time to wait for the sequel since the film starring LeBron James will hit theaters July 16, 2021.
That’s four months short of the 25-year anniversary of the original.
LeBron already revealed it’d start shooting this summer during the offseason following the NBA Finals between the Raptors and Warriors.
A part of us is looking forward to the sequel and another part of us is asking why? We just hope that the second film does the original justice and that it is NOT a complete ramke of the Michael Jordan version.
The question is, why is Bugs Bunny and the gang asking for help from LeBron? And what took so long for the sequel? Could this just maybe they should call it Space Jam 2 The Rematch.
We will see once the Perfect Storm Entertainment, SpringHill Entertainment, Warner Animation, Warner Bros. film is complete.
