Batman V Superman Nightmare Sequence Explained

You may recall that Zack Snyder’s already confirmed that the NetherRealm Studios video game, Injustice influenced the nightmare sequence in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Batman V Superman Nightmare Sequence ExplainedIf you are like CelebNMovies247.com wishing that Zack Snyder Justice League movie wasn’t chopped and screwed, leaving out where Synder was heading with the Batman V Superman Nightmare Sequence because it was cut from Justice League.

If you recall, Batman was witnessing an apocalyptic future where he was caught by Darkseid’s Parademons in the Batman V Superman nightmare sequens. It’s a future where Darkseid and Superman partnered. Batman/Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) gets tied up and burned by Superman/Clark Kent (Henry Cavill)’s laser eyes. What did it all mean? Then Barry Allen/Flash (Ezra Miller) travels back in time and appears telling him to deliver an ominous warning to Batman. The message implores him to find Lois Lane (Amy Adams), unite the Justice League (The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg), and be wary of some tragedy that will befall the Man of Steel at some point in the future.

Lucky for DCU fans, this week Snyder hosted an online discussion with fans to clear up any confusion regarding the discarded narrative in Batman V Superman.

WGTC posted the tea first about Zach Snyder helping to make sense of it all:

During the Q&A Snyder decoded the sequence in the film and he has now shared a new, behind the scenes look at the Knightmare Batman from Dawn of Justice, featuring Ben Affleck’s stuntman Richard Cetrone in the Batsuit.

Zack said:

On lookout at Manor base (Hall of Justice)…also much love to Richard Cetrone for his work on all my live-action movies.

As I mentioned before, the director’s already confirmed, amongst other things, that the vision ultimately leads Bruce to abandon the Batcave, believing it’s been compromised, and move operations to Wayne Manor for his war against Darkseid. Unfortunately, Snyder never got the chance to explore this disastrous future in Justice League, but his commitment to DC minutia is still admirable. Plus, his mention of the Hall of Justice is sure to get the fandom’s blood pumping once again, especially when considering the current state of the DCEU.
