CelebNMovies247.com has learned that Jason Momoa has decided to pull out of The Crow because he feels the movie deserves more love that it’s getting.
Jason Momoa is unclear exactly what the problem is, but we can only imagine that it was looking like trash, especially when you lead actor feels its time to step away.
Momoa released this statement regarding the Crow Remake:
I’ve waited 8 years to play this dream role. I love you @corinhardy and @sonypictures, unfortunately, I may have to wait for 8 more. Not our team. But I swear I will. James O’Barr sorry to let you down I won’t on the next. This film needs to be set free. And to the fans. Sorry. I can’t play anything but what this film deserves and it needs love. I’m ready when it’s right. Love u Corin aloha j
Here is what we have learned via OmegaUnderground who reports that NOT only has Jason Momoa stepped away. The film’s director Corin Hardy has also left The Crow remake.
It is said to have been due to financial issues between Sony Pictures and the film rights holders not coming to any distribution agreement.
This is technically the second time Hardy has left the project, which also marks the seventh actor to step away from the project since the remake was first announced.
Maybe Sony should just let The Crow rest once and for all!
