J. Alphonse Nicholson Lands Two New Movie Roles!

Playing Lil Murda in P-Valley has truly worked for J. Alphonse Nicholson because he has landed two new movies roles…

CelebnMovies247.com reports that the sexy Lil Murda of P-Valley is making waves in Hollywood and he is becoming a hot commodity for some upcoming movies. J. Alphonse Nicholson just landed two new movie roles.

Over the weekend, Plies said he was traumatized by P-Valley so J. Alphonse responded to his viral video claims, but the P-Valley star is on his grind.

J. Alphonse Nicholson took to his social media feeds to announce his new projects.

On Tuesday, Alphonse announced that he has been cast in the upcoming Black Spartans, a football drama director by Ben Cory Jones.

Alphonse signed on to star alongside Neal McDonough and Casey Cott in the sports drama Black Spartans from writer-director Ben Cory Jones (Insecure). The pic is set to shoot in Atlanta this fall.

Exploring the explosive era of the mid-1960s where social upheaval paved the way for a new order in college football, Jones’ feature directorial debut tells the story of the first fully integrated college football team. The film is inspired by the Michigan State Spartans coached by Duffy Daugherty, which forever changed the face of the sport.

A Greensboro, North Carolina native, Nicholson will portray Fayetteville, North Carolina’s Jimmy Raye, who became the first Black quarterback from the South to win a national championship, as part of the 1966 Michigan State team. – Deadline

Nicholson said:

One Wednesday, he posted another film he has just joined:

P-Valley star J. Alphonse Nicholson and Dopesick star Cleopatra Coleman are joining FX’s upcoming limited series The Sterling Affairs, with Nicholson playing Chris Paul. The series dramatizes the events surrounding Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling.

Coleman will play V. Stiviano, Sterling’s mistress. They join Sheldon “Shel” Bailey, Sarunas J. Jackson, Charlie McElveen, Kelly AuCoin and Austin Scott. Other cast members include Laurence Fishburne, Ed O’Neill and Jackie Weaver.

The Sterling Affairs tells the behind-the-scenes story of Doc Rivers and the Los Angeles Clippers’ quest to bring a championship to one of the historically worst franchises in all of sports during the impending downfall of the team’s owner, Donald Sterling, whose notoriously racist behavior is brought to light amid the power struggle between his wife of 60+ years, Shelly Sterling, and his mistress, V. Stiviano. – Yahoo
