What is up with Sony’s Kraven the Hunter starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson directed by J.C. Chandor?
After Venom’s surprisingly impressive Box Office haul, it’s no wonder that Sony went full speed ahead with a sequel titled Venom: Let There Be Carnage. What’s next after of Venom, Kraven the Hunter of course, but it still currently in the early stages of development.
CelebnMovies247.com reports that Kraven is set to be helmed by Triple Frontier director J.C. Chandor with scheduled release date for January 13, 2023.
What do we know about Marvel universe’s most famous hunter in his first live action movie and who will be behind the cameras when they start rolling.
A recent article has offered insight into the background of the popular Spider-Man villain as well as what we can expect from his solo movie.
The possible plot is one that draws inspiration from the famous ‘Kraven’s Last Hunt’ storyline which heavily featured Spider-Man. Though, everything storyline is still up in the air. There is also a question whether this film will take place in the MCU itself.
It is important to point out that Feige confirms that Spider-Man now has the ability to cross between cinematic universes.
This is evident with Michael Keaton’s Vulture showing up in Morbius and the Multiverse that is now in play.
Nonetheless, it seems unlikely that other than an indirect mention or a possible cameo, Spidey will be appearing in this movie.
It’s strongly suggested that the villain will be another member of Spider-Man’s rogues’ – Dimitri Smerdyakov A.K.A. The Chameleon is also the half-brother of Kraven the Hunter.
This is all still rumor and speculation for Sony’s Kraven in his solo movie.
However, Kraven the Hunter will all depend on the success of both Venom and Morbius.
