Here are the upcoming movie trailers fro 2018, kicking off with a remake of the 1987 comedy starring Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell in Overboard. The movie is a classic, but now its getting a reboot with Anna Farris.

As with many movies these days, the Overboard remake is taking a gender-swapped approach which may or may NOT work. It looks funny, but still the same premise with a little change up. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures and Pantelion Films are behind the 2018 remake.

Overboard:

A new trailer has been released for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures and Pantelion Films’ remake of the 1987 romantic comedy Overboard, starring Anna Faris (Mom, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and Eugenio Derbez (La Familia P. Luche). The film is directed by Rob Greenberg and written by Bob Fisher & Rob Greenberg and Leslie Dixon. Derbez, Benjamin Odell and Bob Fisher are producing, and Brendan Ferguson is executive producing. The cast also includes Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) and John Hannah (Four Weddings and a Funeral).

Chappaquiddick:

Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures presents a John Curran directed film called Chappaquiddick about the scandal and mysterious events surrounding the tragic drowning of a young woman, after Ted Kennedy drove his car off the infamous bridge.

The movie is written by Taylor Allen, Andrew Logan. The true story stars Jason Clarke, Kate Mara, Ed Helms, Jim Gaffigan, Clancy Brown, Taylor Nichols, Olivia Thirlby, and Bruce Dern.

Plot Line:

In the riveting suspense drama, “Chappaquiddick,” the scandal and mysterious events surrounding the tragic drowning of a young woman, as Ted Kennedy drove his car off the infamous bridge, are revealed in the new movie starring Jason Clarke as Ted Kennedy and Kate Mara as Mary Joe Kopechne. Not only did this event take the life of an aspiring political strategist and Kennedy insider, but it ultimately changed the course of presidential history forever. Amazon Studios and STXfilms presents the new Nash Edgerton directed comedy action movie, Gringo. David Oyelowo and Charlize Theron star in the Anthony Tambakis, Matthew Stone written film Gringo.

Plot Line:
